The organisational structure of the CINECA consortium shall comprise the following consortium bodies:

  • The General Assembly (GA) is the ultimate decision-making body of the consortium and responsible for strategic, scientific and technological policies.

  • The Executive Board (EB) is the supervisory body for the execution of the project, which reports and is accountable to the General Assembly.

  • The Ethics Management Group is responsible for drafting the ethics reports for the project. An Independent European Ethics Expert will be appointed to review and counter-sign these reports prior to submission to the EC.

  • The Coordinator is the legal entity acting as the intermediary between the Parties and the Funding Authority.

  • The Project Management Team (PMT) will assist the Executive Board and the Coordinator in the day-to-day management of the project.

CINECA has also appointed an Independent Scientific Advisory Board (ISAB) composed of international experts in biological and biomedical science, of which 5 advisory board members have been confirmed. The ISAB provides technical and scientific advice to the Executive Board.
